So far this is by far one of the best things I have purchased for my JKU. Went on easy, and fits perfect. Some people said they had to double up the bungees on the back. Just pull harder, it will stretch! Did take a little finagling to get it to line up perfectly but it's not really that difficult. A number of people have mentioned there are no instructions. You don't really need them. Just pull it tight and bungee where the grommets are.
It really is that easy. I live on the Great Plains/foothills of the Rockies where the sun, with a cloudless sky, can put a pretty good burn on you in just the matter of 30 minutes or so with moderate exposure. The UV blocking blocking properties of this shade is excellent. On the interstate it does flutter but it is very minimal. Edit: on second thought I think the flutter might be caused by my bug deflector as I notice my soft top is doing that now too.
Awesome product. Does everything as advertised. I installed it by myself. It took me probably 40 minutes because of reading review/directions from others while installing (very helpful, thanks Abellp, great review/help). If I did it again I could do it in 15 minutes. I followed what others had recommended and then just kind of started doing it on my own as I kept going back to my phone to read directions and making it more complicated than needed.
Pretty straightforward installation. It blocks out the super hot sun while still having transparency to see the sky. Wind definitely cuts down, but you still feel air coming through to give your "top off" experience. It does flap ( no flapping noise just minor movement), but not in a way that is noisy or annoying. Obviously, it's not a hard top so driving on the freeway is going to cause some movement in it, but minor. I almost shouldn't mention it because I don't want to scare others away. I am happy with the look and with the quality. My three-year-old in the back is definitely thanking me now because he is out of direct sun and hurricane winds on the freeway.
