Real quick and easy to install. If you have a long drive with the sun bearing down on you this Jeep Wrangler bikini top is a great go to. It folds up and stores easily and you can leave the windshield channel on or throw it in the back. It works okay during a light of sprinkle of rain.
However, it just slightly, and I mean slightly, misses fully covering over the top of the doors on both the driver and front passenger side. So some water will channel down the top of the door frame. It makes it over the tops of the rear passenger doors though. Of course if yours riding with the doors off this doesn't matter.
Also, if you have grab handles that Velcro around the roll bar for the driver and front passenger these won't work because this top attaches with Velcro around that area of the roll bar. I've also tested it on the highway just out of curiosity to see how much buffeting occurs due to wind and speed. It held up at 70 mph but that was for a short run maybe 5 miles. I have not had the chance yet to test it at that speed for a larger distance.
At 55mph it didn't seem to be affected poorly at all by wind stress and that run was approximately 65 miles.
This thing is solid. Once you get it in place there is no wind slap at all. I will leave this thing on all summer and never put my Jeep Wrangler hard top back on until it gets cold again. With solid doors on the rain does not bother me at all and the seats stay dry.
